电能表分为单相电能表和三相电能表，单相电能表一般适用于居民用电，如出租房、自住房、物业等。
三相电能表一般适用于商铺、工厂、电站、发电厂等使用。
电能表标准要求1级表启动电流为其基本电流的4，所以才会用出现选择合适计量规格的说法，比如
1.5(6)A与20(80)A的启动电流差别就很大的.前者为6mA 后者为80mA. 启动电流是指电能表开始计量的
下限值，小于启动电流，电能表将不能正常的计量或不计量，那么这部分功率就成了损耗.只能在总表上体显出来。
那么适用于出租房的单相电能表电流电压规格要如何选择呢？
单相电能表一般的电压规格是220V，电流规格的选择主要在于用户的负荷，一般负荷电流的上限不能超过电能表
的额定电流，下限不低于电能表允许误差范围以内规定的负荷电流。例如：用户的用电功率大概在10KW，电压是
220V，电流就是10000除以220等于46A，也就是说，用电功率除220，得到就是电流值大概是46A，考虑到要预留一定的
余量，可以选用5（60）A的电流规格。
